Has anyone overclocked a laptop before?
I have a Toshiba that has a p120 in it. I was wondering if I could squeeze it for a litle more...

Unfurtunately not. I am yet to see an overclocked laptop. Maybe you can on some laptops if you change the resistors and solder links on the cpu card, but I'm not very sure about that at all.
I have a 486slc25 laptop and I would like to overclock that.......actually I'd really much prefer a nice new laptop but that is out of the question http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif.

I remember some story about a line of Toshiba laptops with a 166MHz CPU that could be o/c to 266. Just seems very unlikely...

I have read articles about overclocking the libretto, but I was wondering if anyone else had heard of oc'ing a laptop that is older.
