I tried several times to oc my old acer amd k6 200 and kept getting windows protection error so I gave up and bought a new p233 chip .That is the max that this aladin board will handle. I was getting a winstone of around "47" with the amd 200 and now I'm hitting a robust "35" or so! What is going on? I changed 2 jumpers according to the manual...one for a lower voltage and the other for the multiplier. My machine recognizes the new chip but it just runs really slow. Everything that I have read says that a p233 should run at about "57". Am I missing something? or could it be a bad chip?
Thanks!

Have you got the caches enabled in the bios?. It is also worth checking for a bios update for it as well.

The cache is enabled but you are probably right about the bios. I will try to find the update. Thanks for the response!
