About AMD,I don't want to choose between them because at the moment I have a AMD K6-2 333@400MHz at 2.6V and a PII 300MHz SL2W8 that goes EASILY 516MHz @ 2.0V (I haven't got the money to buy a new mobo yet,VA6 Abit).I tell this to show that I support both parties.
But I really think AMD Athlon is better than PIII (Coppermine).I don't really know why,it just is.

I think that AMD is taking the right approach to the issue at hand. (OEM's providing a PRE-Overclocked system is wrong. It should be upto the end-user to VOID the warranty by overclocking the chip.

Hmm it looks like you have merely went back to the same "illicit" website I have showed you in my prior post on the subject and rehashed it making it all of a sudden a reputable source,just because they have shown an "alleged" letter from AMD.
