what heatsink to use with amd k6-2 448 @ fic va503+?

I wonder what kind of heatsink i should use.
Pure performance is the only thing that matters. I have a water cooling system but i would like to use the more simple air cooler.

Wise move. However, if your CPU socket has a metal handle, few large sinks will fit. With caution, it is usually possibleto bend back the end of the handle so it doesn't touch the heatsink. MAKE SURE THAT IF YOU BEND IT IT DOESN'T TOUCH THE MOBO

just out of curiosity what kind of water cooling system are you know ussing? i am using a home made water cooling system on my amd 450 at 517 with a 115 FSB and am very pleased. why back to air? also what are ya gona do with the old water cooler parts?? mabey thought ya might want to sell it. just wondering.

Im running my own designed watercooler.
The only think i haven fixed yet is the
cooling of the water itself. and i have
my computer on 24/7 and dont what to get up @night and change the water every 2.5 hours.

Maybe you have some good info about how to
cool the water ? any help would be great!

i cool my water to room tempeture. i am ussing an old a/c coil out of a 83 jeep. i attaced 3 power supply fans to it blowing through it and it will keep the water at room tempeture. i am ussing a 10 gallon fish tank with 2 gallons of water in it. i have read alot about people ussing trans coolers that you can pick up at just about any auto parts store fairly cheap. only reason i used the a/c coil is that i pulled it out of my jeep and it did not cost me anything.

what are you ussing for a water jacket on your cpu? im running water directly over the cpu right now but ordered a socket 7 water jacket from outlaws water coolers so i can try a pelter sandwich under it. i found some 120 watt pelters that are 40mm 40mm. that should be some serious cooling. i just dont know how the water temp will be. i might have to go to a bigger cooling coil with a larger fan. i have seen pics of people using coper tubing that you get in a roll from like home depot and leaving it coiled up and running a fan through that with the water flowing through it to cool the water back to room temp or close. what are you ussing for your water system? im curious to see what other people have come up with. that is how better things get created. any questions about mine let me know.
