Thanks Peter M 01-13-2000, 01:14 AM Hi, Use the latest (1999/03/06) BIOS. If you don't have that already (see the line that says "Release 1999/xx/xx"), update using a release 6.xx AWDFLASH.EXE (don't use 7.xx, they tend to screw up with the FlashROM type the M577 uses). The K6-2/500 is 2.2V, and shouldn't be a problem (for the CPU voltage regulator) even on pre-v3.1 M577. v3.1 has stronger regulators and also takes the older 2.4V types that draw extremely high currents. Everything else is there, 100 MHz bus and three-jumper multiplier setting for up to 6.0x. Regards, Peter SysOpt.com
