I have a Toshiba 7161 desktop with a Intel 166mhz MMX, 64 mb edo ram, running Win 95 4.00.950.b it has two USB ports. I bought a UMAX astra 1220U, When I try to scan with either Vista scan 3.1 or Photoshop the scanner goes to around 27% and stops, I control, alt, del and it shows the vista scan not responding. The copy feature works fine and so does the scanner test. Is there something I need to do to change my settings or drivers? I've been working on this since Apr 99 and haven't made any progress. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Software a dozen times. I close all aplications but explorer and systray to get up to 89% free. Help me please. Mike
