First off, I would like to thank everyone for the help and answers that i have received. I am a newbie here and have read all the postings for the last 60 days. I see I still have a whole lot to learn, so please bare with me. I am looking to buy a new mb. I have a celeron 466 370 and need to find a new mb for it. I don't know if I should go slot 1 with slocket or 370. I have been unable to find where to order the slocket from.

Thanks

Slocket or Slotkey???

Well... I would rather go with a Slot1 board, the Abit BE6 II.. and just get the I-Will Slocket II.. it's awesome, I have it. I'm running a BX6.2 though.. anyway, good luck!

I concure with Keith, a slot one MB is the way to go now. It appears that Intel is sticking close enough to to the original Penitum II design that minor things like voltage adjustments are all that have changed. I have a ABIT Bx6R2 with a MSI slocket and Cel 366@550 and love knowing any day I want I can plug in the newest Intel coppermine processor without worrying if my MB can handle it.

Let us know what you get,

I went to abit's site, and just seemed to go in circles trying to find what i really need. I finnaly found IWILL site for the Slotket-II, not the slotket-I, but can not find anyplace to purchase one. Some site's show the slotket-1 but not the slocket-II.

Torez or Zetor whoever you are.......

Call IWill. Try and understand what they are saying..... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif They aren't that bad.

And ask them for a dealer of their products. They will hook ya up.

Go to pricewatch.com.Manually type in "Iwill" at the top of the page. There's a couple of sites there that sell both slokets.

You guys can't find 'em? That sucks. I ave a little computer place near me called PC Club (http://www.pcclub.com) and they have pretty much everything you could ever need relating to procs and slocket type thingies. I picked up my IWill Slocket-II for $20, but I have to admit, they're cpu prices are a bit above what you can get online, by about $10-$15.

I went to 1look.com's site. Found the slocketII. BUT it comes up in the shopping cart priced at $227.00. I hope this is not right. Would not be able to buy two of them.

I think www.azzo.com (http://www.azzo.com) sells them too.
