Jeff, I just want to let you know your TWIN is working with me here in Utah! When I saw your picture of you and your nephew I thought to my self..Jarrod! what you doing on Jeff's website http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif lol
One thought though on your website..You might think about running your pictures thru a "shrinker" to speed up the download process. as most of your pictures have no compression.

Yeah, thats my only thought as well...shrink some of the pics or make linkable thumbnails....even on a cable modem it takes a good 10 seconds for the pics to load..but it might be because of a busy server.

Hmmm.... A shrinker? What would my pictures need a psychologist for? Oh, I see. Where might I find one of these shrinkers?
Tell my twin I said hi.
Later. And thanks.

Many photo editing programs (mid to high end) will have a adjustable compression factor that you can use on Jpegs (jpg's) and Gifs. I personally Use Ulead's photoimpact and Adobe Photoshop. (1 midrange and 1 top end http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif) You can download a 30 day trial of the Ulead software from their website or from Download.com (about 27 megs if I remember correctly). but when using it and you chose "save as" and that opens the dialog box where you chose your name for the file and such their is another tab that allows you to chose the amount of "compression" the trick is to find a balance between speed and quality of the photo. (hince the faster the download speed the less clear the picture is)

Okay. Took care of the .jpgs. Didn't realize I had the quality turned all the way up. Must have defaulted to that.

Okay, I promised myself I wouldn't do this and here I am doing it. I just finished moving my website from Geo*$#&@ ummm cities, and was wondering if y'all could take a look at it and let me know if my links and everything are behaving themselves in their new home. I don't really care if you go or not. I don't even have a counter up yet, so I'm not looking for hits, I just want someone to let me know if the stupid thing is still working.
