Does anyone know if there is a utility to hide the icons in the system tray so that there is one icon which can be blown up to see the hidden icons?

This would be useful as I have several icons that I use infrequently that are just taking up space.

Hope this is clear.

HIDEIT11.ZIP ... sorry, I don't remember where I picked it up, tho. I barely was able to find where it is spinning around on one of my HD's again! One of the many things I've not gotten around to trying yet.

Try Tray Manager. I have used it for some time, and it is very effective in harnessing all of those nasty little tray icons. It is/was available on PC World magazine's download page.
