I am new to the list and I have been observing what has been posted on it for the last several weeks. I am confused.

You banned Ronald for what reasons were they personal, I don't know. Did you give him a warning? Was all of his comments in the General Discussion area? The messages were removed so fast that hardly anyone had a chance to read them. I think that someones ego got bruised. Did he post any messages using offensive language? So he posted eight messages and they were not in someones proper content. Some of the items I see here do they pertain? If so pertain to what. This is General Discussion you can put anything you want here as long as it is not offensive. If that is wrong then what is General Discussion?
There seems to be a wealth of knowledge here, but there aslo seems to be a pecking order. If a more senior member dosen't like what is going on he complains and because this list is their life (get a life) his position is challenged because he answered the questions asked in a more professional manner. I agree it should be moderated and if abused action should be taked but not for the reasons given. I guess I get the boot next, if so then I did not belong here anyway. You got a good thing going just have the same ground rules for everyone. Just look at what is being posted, was Ronald's comments any different than what is on here, or did someone just have a bad hair day..

Hi Ron C

In a nutshell, Ronald was being disruptive to the Board. He was aggravating Members to the point of the Admins and myself getting numerous complaints about him.

For example, he would post the same link in another Member's immediately previous post, repeatedly. He would post nonsense and non-help posts where someone was desperately seeking help for a solution, and doing so numerous times.

We give everyone a fair shake here. We do not ban lightly, nor do we like to ban anyone. Everyone must agree to the Rules, Policies, and Disclaimers when registering to be a Member. His posting got to the point of being harassing.

It had been suggested to him several times to be more responsible and to have consideration for the other Members and this Board. He chose to not heed those suggestions.

All we ask is that Members respect one another here and not cause needless disruption.

I wanted to add a little bit,

Its one thing to post a reply to a non computer related thread in the "general discussion" section, but when you post something that has absolutley nothing to do with a question that was asked, in say, the technical support section, then thats when people got annoyed. About four times he tried to start up useless opinion forums with posts like "I like cheese.." And yeah, he was given ample warning by other members as well as the admin. He was only 16, he'll grow out of it.

Ok, I wasn't aware of all the particulars. If he did all that was said then he did deserve it. I really enjoy the forum and just don't want to step on anyones toes. I hope I did not offend anyone with this post I was just curious.
