I have been trying to overclock my celeron366 with a SOYO BA+ MO with frustrating results. This is my first time at overclocking, but Ive read alot and followed along on discussions on the net. My problem is when I set the FSB/processor frequency and multiplier My computer fails to change or recognize the changes. It still runs at the 366/66mhz. Does any one have this setup? Ive been told to disable "sped error hold" but cant find it in the BIOS any where. HELP!

I've got the same setup running at 458MHz. you can't change the multiplier on your cpu, only the fsb. When you are in the Soyo Combo Setup, set the cpu freq to "manual". Set your cpu host/pci clock to your desired setting, then set your multiplier to 5.5. This should work.*****HINT***** Go to the SOYO website and download all of the bios upgrades. I am using the upgrade for the SY6BA+IV. It has more fsb settings.

OK I have the soyo combo setting exactly as you stated(always have) I also updated BIOS sucessfully too and still no FSB change(actual, using WCPUID) Did you have to use jumpers? (shouldnt have too) After updating BIOS did you need to clear it and set it up again? NEED HELP

Try resetting it again after downloading the new BIOS. Mine went back to default.
