Im planning on buying a k6-2 450 in a little over a week. There are two versions. A 2.2 volt one, and a 2.4 volt. Is one better? Are there any differences, advantages, disadvantages?
thanks

Get yourself the 2.2v version, its the newer one, runs cooler, and will clock to hell and back!! my 400(2.2v) is running at 550 http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif stable http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif and only on 2.4v http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Back at the start of last year (Jan 99), I had a K6-2 333 with the CXT core. It ran great at 450MHz at 2.2 volts, and would run at 400MHz at 2 volts.
