Everything froze here last night (like im sure it did a lot of places) and a large portion of the trees in our woods are snapping in half from the weight of the frozen water....all the little trees are already up rooted. Anyone else get hit bad?

Did you get a ice storm. We had a mix here but it did turn to snow and it has stuck http://www.sysopt.com/forum/icons/icon6.gif Or was it just rain that froze? It a shame about the trees. YOu must be droping power lines also.

It tried to snow here (north GA) last night but it was mainly frozen rain. theres about 3 inches of ice on everything....now the part thats crappy is that its all going to melt in a few hours!

DANGIT!!!

I have a friend who live up on the Cumberland Platue and his lines are down. If we get 2" he gets 4"+. And he is south of me. Everytime it snows he misses a few days till the plows get to the Platue.
The worst thing is after it melts it will refreeze tonight and make for a slick Monday morning. It's should all melt here today.
I am about 35 miles SE of Nashville. The geolocical center of TN is a mile or so from me.

I can't believe we didn't get any of it here in Charleston. It sprinkled a little and blew right over.

I live in Lubbock, TX, so we don't have any trees to freeze. All we have is a bunch of cotton fields, but it is/was pretty cold. I hope we get snow tonight.
