I recently stumbled across a program named cpu booster. ..does it realy do what it claims to do? I couldn't test it out for myself because my pentium is down for the moment. just out of curiosity, does it really work?

Don't waste your time with this prog, it abolutely does nothing to the speed of your cpu. I remember reading a article awhile back showing the supposed results of this prog. NO GAIN in performance was found in any way.
If you interested in a tweak prog that actually works, take a look at powertweak:

Dude the program is a farce, just rename the extension of the program(exe to mp3), and play it. It is an mp3 from bush i think(Everything zen if I recall correctly)
Hehe. That **** has been floating around the net for ages and usually newbies fall for it really easy.
have fun

The CPU-Booster i have tried was NOT a mp3. It worked, but not the way it should. There was no differince at all! It did all it had to do, but it didnīt help.
So donīt waste your time.
