1. If using AGP card, Try lowering your Apature size to 4/8 and or disable agp sidebanding.

2. Sometimes the system may seem stable yet you will get random lockups and or freezes in certain games or apps, To solve this: Up the voltage to the CPU. Sometimes it needs a bit more juice to work stably. I originally had my PIII 500 o/c to 600 @2.0v and got random errors in UT and hd access glitches, Once I put the voltage to 2.05v it solved my problem.

3. The Harddrive PIO mode might be stopping you from o/cing try changing it in your bios. If it's set to 4 try a lower setting like 3.

4. Ram CAS Latency might be giving you a problem as well, This can be changed in the bios. If it's set to 2 try setting it to 3.

5. Finally don't forget, Your main enemy is HEAT! Make sure you have good CPU cooling and always use termal paste those little square pads are not as good at heat dissapation.

Isn't the AGP aperture size set im MBytes?
What does 4/8 mean??
