Has anyone heard anything about this chip and how good of a OC it is ? I saw somewhere that it can go to 700MHZ but I came to the place where i know i will get some answers . I got a few more questions about this what kind of slocket do you use for the flip chip and what will be the best cooling for it ?

Don't get the Coppermine right now. The Coppermines have a bug in them. People with that have those CPUs are having trouble starting up their computers. Only 2% of the Coppermines produced have the bug so if you want to risk it go ahead and buy a Coppermine. Intel is fixing the problem. I suggest that you wait until Intel ships the ones without the bug. If you really need a faster cpu right now then get a regular P3 500.

Hey Hardhead,
What kind of mb do you use? Just wondering how you got your unconventional 126 FSB?
Anyhow, I'm running at 630 also with a P3-450 at 140 FSB!! My system handle stress much better, and it rocks!! =)

I'm using Alpha P3125 heatsink with 2 YSTech 60mm*25mm fans!! Of course, Alpha is useless if case temp is not around normal room temp!! Other than that, you just have to be lucky with the right stepping of CPU such as the SL37C I got!! One of the best OC CPU!! It haven't even try the 675 yet. However, I have a friend who already got there!!

Iron_Jackal I am useing a Microstar 6163 Pro
here is the web site .. http://www.msicomputer.com/
If you look up the specs on their web site they give up the specs for the 6163 not the 6163pro you can find a reveiw of this board at www.Bxboards.com (http://www.Bxboards.com) but here is a list of those unconventional FSB settings .. MSI 6163 Pro
Chipset: Intel 440BX

Oh, I forget to mention I have Asus P3B-F mb, and I'm using the lastest version of BIOS 1004!! This mb is great for OC, but it doesn't have that much FSB settings as one such as the Abit BF6 mb!! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif
It seems that Asus P3B-F mb is overprice now, which makes Abit BF6 mb look like a good buy!! I'm still waiting for www.bxboards.com (http://www.bxboards.com) to do a review on the Abit BF6 mb, since they are not BIAS like other reviewers. Take www.hardocp.com (http://www.hardocp.com) , they are Abit lover, since they don't even review the Asus P3B-F mb.
BTW, I'm a SCSI user with Adaptec 2940U2W card!! That's why I prefer mb with 6 PCI!! SCSI card seems to handle stress much better on out of spec 33 PCI Mhz!! All my friends that have IDE setup have hard drive corruption problems when OC too hard on them!! The TNT2 users seem to do poorly on the AGP bus also!!
Anyway, I'm glad you reach 630!! Welcome to the 630 club!! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif I hope one of this day I'll joing the 675 club, since I'm still waiting for the L2 cooper cache spacer for my Alpha!!
