hey i'm able to overclock to this speed.. but when i'm playing a game like Starcraft on Battlenet.. the game shuts off. not hte system..
i chekc my cpu temp..and its not even warm ..(i use rain) but my video card..some ghetto one. .its liek an apollo media2 8mb agp. wel lthe cpu on its is burning hot? is there a way to cool it down.. by the bios? is this my problem.. then chip seems to be able to handle it ..but hmm. any suggestions would help..

well my mobo is a biostar M5ala..

You usin' thermal paste? What voltage you at? Be careful, because I just told people the 6x multiplyer for the K6-2 and they just had to give it 2.9v and fry their chips. Report the voltage and cooling and I'll see what I can do! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

BTW- Is your OS ready for the AMD running >350MHz .. No win 95a, If you are using 95b you must get patch and no problem with 98..Just a thought...(i dont get many)

get a 486 heat sink and fan and supper glue it to the video chip http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif works gr8 http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
will cool it right down just a little dab will do ya use thermal past around the out side leave a bare spot right in the middle for the supper glue and pop that thing in place http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
