Has anyone been able to clock a k6-III 450 to 500 with useing less than 2.5v at 500 to get it 100% statble, from 2.2v at 450. my last chip was a k6-II 400 2.2v core and I clocked it to 450 at 2.4v and it was 100% stable. I wonder why I had to use a bigger voltage jump for the k6-III is it because of the full speed L2 cache? and does anyone think that I would be able to lower the voltage later? thanks for your replies http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
