New 17" Monitor

Well...somebody has to buy the cheap monitors!

I just bought this 17" "GEM" model -1770 from Fry's for $159

yeah it's cheap but the picture is good - a lot better than the 14" I had been using on this system...

to think I paid $318 for my other 17" and the picture is not nearly as good!

I'm a firm beliver in What suits the eye's AND the wallet is the best deal of all! (btw I have 2 "Cheap" 17"ers and love em!)

I wish I had Frys here. I know they screw up every once and a while but I need something like that.

I don't have a Frys where I live either, but I do travel a lot for business, and have been able to go to several of their stores. For a retailer, they have by far the widest selection of in-stock puter hardware of anyone I have ever seen. Problems???? There are bound to be some when they sell as much as they do....but I would take a Frys over "Best-Lie" (Best-Buy) ANY day!

Well, the company I work for was selling their (1 year used) 19" monitors for just $20!!!

Great deal. I got my 17" @ Sams club last year for $200.

I got a *****in' Samsung 750s for about $349 canadian ($200 US)

Blew my memory fund on it though. Now i have to save up god knows how much for another PC133 128MB DIMM.
