With the exception of the top tier or two, the Athlons are very nicely priced. Unbelievable that most of the PIIIs lag behind the same speed Athlons in performance yet superseed them in pricetags. Baffling.
I'm just curious, when you purchase a PIII, do you also have to fill out a police report? Because you're obviously being ripped.
note: the PIIIs in flavors of 750 & 800 were not left off the list. It seems they are NOT availible just yet. So why then did Intel have a press release saying they are now offering 800mhz processors, the fastest availible (at the time, couple weeks ago). LOL! typical Intel bs.
