No increase in speed after overclocking?

I overclocked my celeron 266 to 300mhz and my bus speed from 66mhz to 75mhz why dont I get any better frame rates in quake2?

well, i cannot tell you for sure, your video card may not be up to par. however, your relative increase in mhz was not large so corrspondingly the change you will see is small....
