Well I have been experimenting w/ O/C. Had gotten it stable @ 400 (4x100x2.3v or 2.4v? cant remember voltage) anyway. Ran for a day or 2 @ 400 no prob. OK time to try another step. I tried 95X4.5, nogo, nothing nada not even vidio bois. Tried stepping up the voltage from the 400 voltage .1 step @ a time until I hit 2.7v. I then gave up. Then I couln't even get it to boot @ 400 or 380. It ran fine @ 350. A few days later decided to try gain got it @ 380 for about a week. Now I'm about to try to go back up to 400 again here in a couple of days.
All of that out of the way, anybody run into something like this, and/or any advise for my next atempt into the of over 50mhz O/C.

I overclocked my AMDK6-2 350 last week to 400 just as you did (4 X 100) and I didnt have to increase the voltage up from 2.2. What motherboard and video card do you have?
I had lock-ups and 0028 GPF errors at 450 also, so I backed it down until I get a case fan. You may need to "burn-in" your chip at 400 for a couple weeks to acclimate it more.

MD: FIC 503+
Vid: Quantum3d Raven (Banshee)
never gor the full explination of burn in...Let it run @ 400 for a couple of weeks? I couldn't get video bios @ standard voltage @ 400, but I am running @ 380 @ standard volt. right now. @ 450 no vid bios at all.

hmmm.. such fickle mb's we have. Banshee's can run warm too. Any additional fans? I'm gonna stay at 400mhz for now at 2.2. Are you using Rain or Waterfall for CPU cooling as well during dormant CPU access times? Btw, do you have the 503+ with the gray sticker on the box and a white sticker on the mb? If so, your 503+ is compatible with K6-3 450 and 500 chips, and can use on-board cache as L3! I'm waiting for the price drop. :-)
