If amd elects to continue the K6 line...since most mobo's have multiplier settings up to 5.5 , how will we accomodate 600 and greatr chips? Will amd consider "odd" bus speeds like 112, 124? or 133? And if so, what of the periphials? Is there a way of finding "secret" bus speeds that may exist in current crop of mobo's? Can bio's be flashed to enable higher buses? Just a thought or two.. =)

usually what they do is remap the multiplier...IE: 2x becomes 6x, 2.5x becomes 6.5x ect. (these are just examples of what they can do) Remember the intel 233mmx chip it was 233 mhz if you used either 1.5x or 3.5x both end up with 233mhz When used with the 66mhz bus.
