I was thinking that after you take the cap off of an AMD the heat sink would be a little warmer b/c more heat is making it off of the chip. Or am I not thinking far enough into this and the heat gets removed much quicker and the heat is just gone.
I ask this because my heat sink used to be warm, after removing the cap it seems to be room temp.
