I'm ready tonight to o/c my baby to 400 tonight and have a few questions. Specs are:

AMDK6-2 350
FIC VA503+ Super 7 mb w/100mhz FSB
Standard Heatsink/fan
64mb PC100 RAM
Viper 770 (Non Ultra)

I went to Radio Shack and got the thermal compound and I was looking at the cooling fans, ranging from 2-5 inches in size. I have an AT case and I dont know if I need the additional cooling.(Ive seen 350's go to 400 w/OEM only) If i was to get a fan, do I cut a hole in the case for it? Where would I mount it and how does it connect to power supply? Maybe I should reverse the power supply fan, or just leave the hood off the PC and run a deskfan? I have the RAIN program for CPU cooling, but its not much help when playing TFC on-line. Any suggestions?

hey toad ....

you should have no problem with that setup. i would recommend placing that case fan at the front of the case blowing across your heatsink/fan combo to help pull that heat off. it would also help to run an exhaust fan to suck air out of your case also. i'm running the same motherboard and i'm running my k6II 450 at 500 and it runs great.
best of luck!
