I want snow. I want snow. I want snow. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

I was born and raised in MI. I miss it. Being in CA and now TX, I haven't seen the true 4 seasons for 6 years. Oh well. At least I'm not stuck on a Ship. It's so rough being in the Navy and only going on a ship for two weeks a year. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

MntSnow where are you? Aren't you gonna tell us about the great snow in Utah? http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif. I'm from Norway, and we are supposed to have a lot of snow, but I'm living on the west coast, and there is hardly any snow here at all. The wonders of the Gulf Stream.

Ahhhh...*sniff* sniff* I'm loved and remembered! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif ahh Yes we have had some good snow lately and picked up another foot in the last 2 days up where I snowmobile. but not much actually here in the city. (I actually live just 20 minutes from where I unload my snowmobiles http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif) Unfortunitly I have been stuck here at work to much this last week. I am planning on Snowmobiling MONDAY (during the day I actually work the graveyard shift during the week and day shift on the weekends!) Let me tell ya the Fridaynight into Saturday day shift is a LOOOOONG one!

Mntsnow

Here in Dawsonville Ga (about an hour north of Atlanta) we got about 4 inches of ice. I am from Ohio, so i can kinda handle myself on the road, but we got some monkeys here driving at 70 down the road and switching lanes....sigh. I hope no one gets hurt here.

Hello,

No snow here at all. Sun, sun, sun, dry creeks, sometimes rain but no snow at all.
I grow up in the country with four different seasons and here, I will have only two.
Adelaide - South Australia.

You are lucky.

If you knew what *REAL* snow was like, then you wouldn't want it so much http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif.

Out here in the frozen north, we got 83 cm (2-3 feet) of snow in under 48 hours.

Still, thats a nice bit better than the 6-8 foot drifts I remember from my childhood. Screw snowforts, I had a snow castle.

Here in North Carolina, it's snowing right as I type. It's been happening (2-3 inches) every other day. I didn't have classes all last week, IT'S GREAT! The roads are horrible to drive on though. I found this out a few minutes ago coming home from a girl friend's house. It's so pretty though, I wish it did this all winter.

(I was born and raised in Louisiana, so "cold weather" is like 60F ! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Hello,

Dominus – it is boring to have sun all year around and some rain.
Yes I know what are winter and a real snow. Temperatures during a winter in my home country are well, well below 0 C and sometimes snow might be deeper than 1 meter.
