nic card preventing succefull o/c?

Im trying to get my amd k6-2 400 to 500
and cant seem to get it to run windows.
posts okey @500,2.6 n 2.7 volts. but windows
is a no go... have been running 450 on this
sucker for quite some time now.
i just want more of that lovely mhz luvvin´

I doubt the NIC matters. Every CPU has it's limit. You seem to have found it for yours.
