How can I lock the Floppy Drive prior to booting NT or doing it within the NT Registry?

Do you know how to establish a system policies for the users? You may configure the desktop and the control panel, disable the floppy drive to your user. Go to the Control Panel to establish system policies. In addition, when you setup a user account, you may create certain limitations to the users.

I need to be able to lock the floppy and boot from c: prior to going into NT. I want to be able to leave the floppy in the drive for future unattended rebuilds. Any suggestions?

Password protect the BIOS, then change the boot sequence options in there. You can also use TweakUI or a similar utility to prevent the floppy from showing up in Windows.

Of course the easy way would be to just remove the cables from the drive and leave them hanging in the computer, then temporarily re-connect them when necessary.
