I have an Abit ZM6 motherboard and a Celeron 500Mhz processor... could anybody please help me with the proper settings (not overclocked though) for this. Right now, when I power up, I get a non-critical error message about my CPU not being set up correctly, and that I need to reset it, I've tried 500(66) but that just isn't working for me, I get the same message... should I change the voltage or something?

Turn off the hold on speed error in soft fsb and set to hold on no errors (all in bios).

Yeha I think it may have an old BIOS that doesnt support it, so just shut off the hold error, and itll letcha pass. If your not overclocking, leave the volts alone!

Thanks a lot. From the looks of Abit's website, they fastest they officially support with the BIOS is 466Mhz. I'm going to be upgrading my current BIOS soon though, just whenever I have an opportunity. Thanks again.

well you could flash the bios instead of totally upgrading it, just afile and a couple of commands will do it..

I have an Abit LX-6 and it worked for me, that is turning of "speed error hold".
