Ok I have 2 questions actually.

Any way to get the "Overclocking and CPU's" forum split between AMD and Intel? It would make it easier when we want to look over certain things between the two.

Also why aren't we allowed to edit the Topic question itself?

Just curious. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Hi NavyDood

Your suggestion is being forwarded to Scott.

As for editing the content of a Topic header, that function is allowed only to Mods and Admins. You can request to have it edited though, and if it's appropriate/allowed Admin or I can/will change it, if we can get to it.

How about a cooling section somewhere?

You're welcome, Jim. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Got word back from the top, Jim. Your suggestion was a good one and given merit but, alas, it is not to be. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

To loosely paraphrase: There is not enough traffic to warrant a split-up of the forum... Most people just want CPU info.

Your suggestion is appreciated though! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Dkay, I'm sorry, but doesn't look like a cooling section will be happening either. But you're input is appreciated!

Just so you all know, when suggestions are made, I save a copy of the thread(s) in a draft email. When the 'Big Guys' ask me about suggestions, I have them ready to send for evaluation. So don't hesitate to keep suggesting ideas.

Just because something won't work now, doesn't mean it won't work in the future. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

I predict in the not so far future, we'll only need an AMD forum period, anyway. By that time time , they'll be coming from the factory overclocked and we'll have to slow them down to run the current software and games.
How's it going Dood???? I'm back from the rim of the valley of death!!!!! Send you an E mail soon http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
