I have finally done it. I just got my PII-450 running 558 MHz @ 2.2 volts while under 100% FULL CPU LOAD and it does NOT overheat and lock up!
I used a dual 40mm peltier cooling setup while I designed and had fabricated at a local machine shop.
The entire process was extensive, but all of the tricks that I used (thanks to all of the research I did) has been worth the effort.

Ha, ha, ha.......
Now I am going to attack my Celeron 400A and see if it will do 600 MHz. I already have it cracking at 500 MHz.

Sterling, just curious, what did you use to keep your heatsink on those peltier? I have a heatsink which its clips broke off, and want to use it on my peltier ive got on my k62, but I dont have anything to keep it on other than thermal paste, which Im forced to keep the case on it side so the heatsink doesnt fly off. What do you recommend? By the way, cheers on the 558!

I designed a clamping system with a backing plate made of aluminum, the PII-450 attached to the SECC1 mounting plate with spring clips, the dual peltiers with thermal grease, a copper hot plate with drilled and tapped holes for the bolts to hold it all together, and the heatsink which is screwed to the copper hot plate. It is quite impressive and weighs several pounds.

I can already feel all the extra rc5 blocks that'll be coming out because of your effort http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
