You'll need a video card that supports TV out on it for the video and you'll have to run audio cable from the line out jack on your sound card to the line in jacks on your stereo equipment. I had a setup like this at one time. Everything was cool except for the system being on the floor...bending down all the time can be a pain. I used it like that for about a year or so. After that the coolness of it sorta gave way and I took it down...needed the system for a server. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Good Luck sen!

So, Voodoo 3500tv or is there a better one? Also, what card would alow me to have optical audio outs ( fiber optic ).
I plan on having a P3 450 as a server.
While im here can that P3 be overclocked, or is there a way for me to tell if volt is locked??
thx

Well, I see no reason why the Voodoo3 3500 would not be a good card to use for the job. But, will you be playing any games or using this machine for other things than just playing music through it? If not, you may wanna try to find a less expensive card to use...unless you just happen to have a 3500 sitting around. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

I really can't help help you much with the fiber optic outputs on a sound card. I've never heard of a sound card having them...hopefully someone else can come along to help shed some light on that as well as your P3 question...
