I was wondering if the H-P or Compaq computers sold at places like Best Buy, Circuit City or Office Depot can be tweaked up a lil' ?

Thanks.

Sure can..I had a 200MMX Compaq from.....Curcuit city i think it was?
Clocked that from 200 to 233...The board had no FBS settings at all...and had 3 measly pins for multiplyer...
But in any case you can

I've got an HP Pavilion (stop laughing!) that overclocked nicely from 300 mhz to 350. I would suggest building your own if possible...

That's my $0.02!

I overclocked a Gateway 2000 G6-300 once, only like 33mhz though, your best bet is to make it yourself.
