I just attached a small fan on my V3 2000 today, I can run it stable at 194Mhz for hours and for about 10-15 min. at 200Mhz.

Is it just me or is this a really high speed for this video card? I don't remember anyone being able to run a V3 2000 at 200Mhz. before!?!?

Voodoo3 is really a very good card, but it's corespeed is the same as the memory speed, that means whatever speed you set your core to the memory is running at the same speed. that's y you can't get them to a higher speed cuz of the memory.

if anyone can crack this board from driver or something, so we can setup the core and memory speed separately. I'm sure we can get the speed to more than 200mhz

yep, thats a great speed.... you got a lucky card. 192 is the best I have done so far and I have made several different coolers for the
v3, including a super-duty sandwich.
you can see my cooling setups at my site.

I want to oc my V3 but were do you connect the extra fan on the MB. I have SS7 M557 and I can only see on interface for the fan-power (which is used by the CPU fan). What do I do????

First of all, most motherboards have 3 fan connectors. Look around, they all look the same.

Then, if you can't find one, you can buy fans that connect to the same plug as your hard drive, CDROM, etc.
