He guys i have a problem i have a k6 350@400
that runs nice but i have a 486 also and made
a little LAN out of them but the 486 has no reset switch !! and no conectors inside !
to put some wires on it.
So guys tell me wich conections i have to make to hard reset this thing !!

Ok, here is what you need... there should be something on your mobo marked, 'reset', it has 2 spots over or under it, and should be close to the hook ups for power leads, speeker, etc... if all you can afford is 2 wires, strip both end of each, I would not sugjest using a scisors, use a stripper is you have one, or my friend uses his teeth, but using a scisors will cut some of the actual wire. Once the ends are stripped, connect one end of each wire to these 2 connections on the mother board, run the other ends out the front (there should be some ventalation holes), and to reset, just touch them together. I basicly did that, I had this switch that pushes up once you let go, I hooked up the wires to this, and put hot glue over the end to seel it up.
