Multilinking has finally become my ticket to a faster internet! (it's actually my ONLY option since DSL,cable,etc. won't be in my area until like 2003) Using Prodigy, even during NON-peak hours, I would connect around 20-28k. Not bad? Yeah right, during peak hours, I had to check my modem's pulse just to make sure it wasn't dead.
HOWEVER, I just switched to a local ISP that offers 112k bonding. (my Diamond SupraSonic II is on it's way in the mail) Just signed up for $24.95 a month for 112k. Already have the two phone lines. I'm typing this message only using my old 56k Sportster ISA, and WHOA BABY! 40-50k avg. connection. Look at this!!

I can't imagine what adding the second modem will be like. FINALLY!!!!!
