I recently recieved from a trusted friend a copy of CPU Booster, a utility which apparently overclocks your CPU with out and hardware modifications!!

anybody heard anything about this or know even if it really works?

I haven't heard of that one, but softFSB lets you switch the bus frequency on many boards.

I have the CPU Booster on a disk i got from
E-Bay.com.

I really couldn't tell if it worked or not and i haven't got a program to tell me if my cpu was really going "85% faster" which was what it told me when i was through installing it.....
