Got my BH6/300a working at 450/464. It was the hard drive not being able to keep up. Installed a new 8.4gig Maxtor and it was like I got a new computer. Now I want 504. I can get it to boot to windows without crashing but Final Realty will not run. What do I need to do to get 504 working? Thanks

You should pump up the voltage a bit to 2.2V
Set your ram timing to 3
Buy a big *** heatsink! and put the one you have on the back of the CPU!
Set your L2 letency to 7-8 maybe even 15!
Keep COOL! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Andre,
You say to put a heatsink on the back of a processor. Do you use some sort of tape or something to prevent an electrical short?

You need non-conductive tape. Try upping to 2.2, but get like a 1 lb heatsink, I like the OEM heatsinks with no fans, thay run cool, than screw like 3 of 4 fans on it. By the way, incase you didn't know...it is called a celery sandwich.

-o-, one other thing, you cannot always expect 500mhz out of a 300a.

Ok I got 504 working @2.2 volts. I put a large floor fan blowing into the computer. The temp read 24c. How can I up the speed of my CL Banshee card as it seems to jerk some when running the Final Realty test? Otherwise the games I have tested work fine.
