To be more precise, here is part of the FIC faq:

Q13) Which version of the PA-2013 can support the K6-2 450, and K6-III CPU's?

A13) The VA-PA-2013 rev.2.0 with ECN 2636 or 3636 can fully support the K6-2 450, K6-III 400, and K6-III 450. You can find the ECN number printed on a white sticker along the edge of the board or on the gray sticker outside of the box (i.e. E:4503)

Q14) Can the earlier revisions of the PA-2013, or 2.0 revisions without ECN 2636 or 3636 support the K6-2 450, and K6-III CPU's?

A14) Sorry, the earlier revisions the PA-2013, or earlier release of the PA-2013 2.0 will not be able to support the K6-2 450 and above, or the K6-III CPU's. Only boards with ECN 2636 or 3636 will support the K6-2 /450, K6-2 /450, K6-III 400, and K6-III 450

I visited www.fica.com yesterday to check and see if there were any BIOS or driver updates and found a new section for new developments in the 2013 and 503+ boards. Seems that even though I just got my 2013 2 months ago (I chose it over a slot 1 configuration for a easy upgrade to a k6-3 later on)it is not compatible with the k6-2 450 or any of the k6-3's. What's the benefit of sticking to a super7 configuration if you have to buy a new motherboard to use the new chips? Does anyone know whether this is just a certification issue, and the k6-3's will work on the 2013 rev 2.0 boards anyway? Thanks for any info.
