Bill Gates...CEO no more. What are they up to...could the timeing be related to the USA Today story? I'm eager to see this beauty unfold....if there is really any significant change.

This 'guy'?...Yea right, he can OWN you if he wanted too!

Really, he probably doesn't enjoy fending off reporters of the liberal media (and therefore anti-microsoft, pro-democratic brainwashed idiots ), and figured it should be about what he likes doing...face it, he's not a white collar bs artist by nature, he's a techno geek, like the rest of us here, and he just realized it.

More power to ya BIll!

Ha, a drunk owning me, that is scary! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Ha, JK. I've been watching the news and "this guy" seams like a pitbull. In the CNN interveiw he said it was irresponsible on the goverment for even concidering a break up. I think he'll handle those press pests just fine. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

I'm not anti-ms...I just find humor in this situation. Though I did like knowing that I could beat the man at my OS helm at an arm-wrestle. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Huh....like the zdtv link said, this is a pretty significant deal. Bill Gates is fading away....I wonder if Ballmer will improve things, or if he will turn into a Michael Eisner-type leader and ruins what MS actually does offer thats good.

Then again, Bill ain't stupid...so let's see:

He makes MS

MS becomes the biggest software company.

Bill becomes rich beyond my dreams.

MS does excellant for 25 years with Bill as CEO...

Gov't comes down on MS, Bill puts someone else in the hot chair.

Now, when MS turns to hell, Bill will point his finger at Steve's inabilities and move back in to 'save MS' and boom...he's the man again.

Pretty smart if you ask me...Steve's the fall 'guy'
