overclocking a voodoo3 2000 to 183

My first question... what exactly does overclocking do to a voodoo3... will it make it process more textures per second or what? I havent figured this out.. lemme know and ill let you know what happens when I do it..

First, you bought a Voodoo 3? What do you smoke, it must be some powerfull ****! Second, it improves everything exept memory size. It will lover life expectancy and will void your warantee, it will also make more heat, so you will have to invest in a fan for the heatsink. If you are interested in a lot of power, you should have waited for the TNT2 to be in your price range.
