Ok, I'm new to over clocking and I'm having a few problems deciding what to buy, I was gonna buy an ABIT BX6 2.0 and 128 megs Crucial(micron) ram....and haven't decded on which celeron, tho I'm leaning tward the 333a. All I want is stability and 500 mhz or better. Can someone please give me a push in the right direction.

1. I's their a better Mobo than a ABIT BX6 .20 ?

2. Whats the best Ram to buy? (I will buy 128 megs)

3. Processor (celeron) which one? (stable and over 500 Mhz)

4. Cooling, well I've got that one already =)

again, thanx for any help...In making my first overclock a kickass one =)

Getting a 333MHz celeron to run at 500MHz is a real iffy thing. I'd estimate your chances of success at less than 40%. If you can find a Celeron 300A your chances of running at 450MHz probably better than 80%. Don't forget Celerons are multiplier locked.
Ihave an original BX6 and have no problems. There have been problems with the New BX6 and the BH6. I use generic PC100 ram and have run it successfully at 112MHz.
