Well Iomega has a decent USB external for around 279. HP's is around 350. I would highly recommend USB for better burning. Parallel works but you may get a bunch of errors. The ext USBs are up to 4x4x6.

Thanks Tex-Gex for the help http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif with the URL
Dave has made an excellent point about speed. As long as ALL your systems you want to work with have USB ports then it would be a much faster solution for you.

My Pleasure Mtnsnow, How much snow did you get last week and was the wind blowing like a hurricane ? I'm in Keystone Colorado and was just wondering... The wind just killed the snow pack here..

http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/default.asp?EDC=111683

its kinda pricey though, I do have a "spare" 5gig drive.. any ideas about getting an external shell for it?

I Need An external CD-RW that i can take with me to work and back. I got High speed access there :-)

Any way, It doesn't have to be fast, just external, non-scsi, and fairly cheap.

Any one got a suggestion?

Thanks,

~Red
