Mntsnow Tex_Gex 01-13-2000, 01:29 PM Micro solutions makes the backpack line of external cd drives.. http://www.micro-solutions.com/ hope this helps [This message has been edited by Tex_Gex (edited 01-13-2000).] daveleau 01-13-2000, 01:56 PM Well Iomega has a decent USB external for around 279. HP's is around 350. I would highly recommend USB for better burning. Parallel works but you may get a bunch of errors. The ext USBs are up to 4x4x6. Dave Mntsnow 01-13-2000, 02:17 PM Thanks Tex-Gex for the help http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif with the URL Dave has made an excellent point about speed. As long as ALL your systems you want to work with have USB ports then it would be a much faster solution for you. Thanks ~Red Red Rage 01-14-2000, 12:33 AM I Need An external CD-RW that i can take with me to work and back. I got High speed access there :-) Any way, It doesn't have to be fast, just external, non-scsi, and fairly cheap. Any one got a suggestion? Thanks, ~Red SysOpt.com
