RyanVM 04-03-1999, 11:18 AM It's basically been proven that (for example) a PII 300 running at 3x100 is faster than a PII 300 running at 4.5x66. The increased bus speed will help with overall system speed along with processor speed. Most parts can handle a 37Mhz PCI bus speed without a problem (112/3) and a 75Mhz AGP bus. It's a very insignificant leap. Just make sure you have good components in your system and you should be fine. Also, according to Anand, most memory can handle 112 as well. In conclusion, go with 3x112. Ryan VanderMeulen rvand@sirus.com chad174 04-03-1999, 04:05 PM i agree with ryan. in tests, a 350 p2 (3.5x100) was faster than a 375 (75x5) because of the added bus speed, therefore a 112 mhz bus speed is even better...so go for it.
