Good question Smit...
Sorry I can't give you a precise answer but we'd all like to know how long our setups will last. There's really no way to know for sure.
You might try to consult with a good psychic http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

ok..Ive OC'd my P2 350 using 3.5@112 mhz bus. Runs perfect at 392.."no lockups or hangups after many hours testing" Lowered the Pio level for the HD etc. I have had it running @ 434mhz to see if it worked using a 124mhz bus....It did.. so I set it back to the 112 mhz bus. Question is...if I leave it at 112 or 124 bus....I dont have an AGP card its a Banshee PCI..using a 160megs of PC 100 sd ramm..SB live Card..Cooling has been Excellent..19" tower with lots of fans and HD PIO level set lower. How long, realistically, will the unit run ie. days, months, years at these bus levels until something goes wrong.. Any Ideas...Im still a Newbie to this and find it very interesting.. Thanks for your reply

I like the non-answers you're getting... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
My opinion is that it will probably last longer than you want it to.
Chances are, you'll want something faster in a year or so, if it lasts that long it's done it's job.
The only problem I've run into is with hard drives. When you run at that speed, you may get some errors here and there that you don't know about. Then one day your hard drive crashes so hard, you have to boot from your trusty floppy and type "fdisk" and "format C:". Gee, not that I'm speaking from experience...I've been oc'ing for over 4 years. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Running with a BH6 as well and a PII 350.
It did well too at 112 MHz. I am considering 124 Mhz as well. What did you decide ? Are you now using it at 124 MHz ?
