Hi, I'm going to buy a new MB in the next few days...I have a celeron 300a which I wish to O/C. I know the BH6 is great for this, but I've also heard good things about the new BX6(2). Anyone know what the advantages of the BX6 board are? Which is more appropriate for my processer?

I'd go with BX6-2 even though I own the BH6.

The BX6r2 will carry you further into the future than the others. It has all the best features of the BX6 and BH6 and more.

Oskar Wu, the board's co-designer is a regular at 'Motherboards' over at Anand's.

There have been a number of posts about BX6r2 problems. I have had none. If you encounter any, trade it back, flash the newest BIOS or do some reading of others' posts.

I'm overclocking an oem celeron 300a to 450 on my new bx6-rev2 and it works great! The bx6-r2 will support PIII processors up to at least 500MHz with the right bios update - it's a great board.
