I recently tried to Overclock my Dell Dimension XPS M2000s and It didn't work. Here's my configuration:

200MHZ Pentium MMX
64 Ram
Bios ver. a10 (released 9/15/98).
Change jumpers on America Megatrend mother on slot C and D to 233MHZ settings but computer brought system down to 133MHZ. Just can't understand it...Anyone with this experience before?

Any help is greatly appreciated....

I had the same problem with my P2 300... when I tried to OC it to 333, my BIOS detected a P133. It's because Intel locked the clock multiplier, changing the bus speed is the only way to OC it.

How would I do that (mess around with the buss speed)?

Thanks for the response dude.
