Is the 300a that everyone is talking about still hard to get? I've seen people hawking them at computer shows...

I see 300A CPUs for sale all over the place.
Try www.auctionwatchers.com, I picked one up from DealDeal.com about 10 days ago and I've been running it at 504Mhz with no probs.
It's a **** shoot, you put down your money and you take your chances, but I don't think that there is a real shortage.
There's a Seattle computer shop that guarantees 450Mhz on a 300A, their web address is http://www.seattlepcmagic.com/. They are the OEM version though. I visited their shop to buy memory recently.
