before I get into detail, here is my specs:
Celery300a/BH6 (O/C to 374 83*4.5, 2.2V)
Western Digital 2.5GB HD
32MB 66Mhz SDRAM
24X Goldstar CDROM
Viper v330 4MB PCI

For cooling, I am using a single CPU fan, case removed with a fan blowing into case.

Now, my question is, can I get to 450? I know I am gonna need more cooling and am planning on buying that along with 64MB PC-100 SDRAM. The reason I am asking if I can make it is because I tried it by setting it at 100*4.5. It ran for about 2 seconds before it locked up. BUT, atleast i got that far. With some other settings, I couldnt even get past the boot-up process. It would tell me the CPU settings were unreachable. Since I DID get it to boot for a couple seconds at 450, is it possible? I am wanting to know before I invest money in the extra cooling and RAM.

Also, can someone recommend a good CPU fan to use? I am wanting to spend around $40 total for that AND a case fan. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
darrell

PS- Never thought I would get it this far. But with it at just 374, I can see the improvements. Cant wait to see what 450 will do.

You should be able to get 450Mhz., unless you have a later release of the Celeron - check out www.overclockers.com/cpu for more information. Your RAM should be ok at 100Mhz. and possibly 112 if it's 10ns.

As far as a good fan, try a
