Why can't AOL just like me the flicky-blank-blank ALONE! Arrghh!
I've tried so hard to rid myself of AOL! If it's not my roommate on AOL 24-7, or some friend of mine bugging me to fix their computer for the 100th time because they downloaded a FWD that had a virus in it, IT'S THIS! Time Warner Cable (my local cable service provider) is FINALLY getting cable modems in my area.. 56k is the fastest thing we got here in Redneckville, and now, right on the verge of getting myself a decent cable connection, AOL singles me out (well, maybe not really) and merges with Time Warner Cable! Those bleepity-blank-blanks will have a hand in my internet access, something I just won't stand for. 22 million AOL users CAN be wrong - signing up for the worst ISP in the world. Never.. not me. I'll just get myself another 56k and try multilinking..
SssSssSs... ok, I think I left off all the steam. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Well, look on the bright side, maybe this will deplete some of their advertising budget so they will quit sending me all those coasters..Anybody got any use for those things? I tried shooting skeet with 'em
but they are **** hard to hit when they go on edge. they do make a pretty good mirror to torment your co-workers with,go outside and reflect the sun on their computer screen...yaaa
haha Gradius you got it real bad for AOL! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
I agree, of course 22 million AOL users can be wrong, 30 million Germans voted for Hitler. However, it took him a little longer than AOL to invade Europe.

PS My money is on Microsoft to buy News Corp. That would be BIG.

I am in the same boat as you oxOGradiusOxo. I am supposed to get Cable access in June or July from Time Warner and now they do this. No AOL in my house.

I think they bought Time-Warner so that they'd have enough bandwidth to make that crappy software work. Unfortunately I still have one relative who continues to subscribe to AOHell, Arrrg.
